Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how [DiGi Maker’s registered legal entity name — to confirm], operating as DiGi Maker (“DiGi Maker”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit digimaker.in, sign up as a seller, or shop on a store we build and host on a seller's behalf. It applies to prospective sellers, onboarded sellers, buyers who shop on a DiGi Maker–powered store, and visitors to this website.

Registered address: [Registered business address — to confirm].

2. Information we collect

Information sellers give us directly — name, phone number, email, business name, business address, GST/PAN details, bank account or UPI details for payouts, product and catalog information, and any documents submitted for onboarding or verification.

Information buyers give us directly — name, phone number, email, and delivery address when placing an order on a seller's store.

Information from Meta (Facebook/Instagram). If a seller uses our “Connect Meta” feature to let us run ad campaigns on their behalf, we receive — through Facebook Login and the Meta Marketing API, and only after the seller explicitly authorizes it — the specific ad account(s) and Page(s) they grant us access to, and campaign performance data (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions) for the campaigns we manage. We do not access a seller's personal Facebook profile, posts, friends list, or private messages, and we never request more permissions than the campaign-management features actually use.

Payment information. Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner; we receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, but card/UPI credentials are handled by the gateway, not stored on our servers.

Shipping information. Order and delivery-address details are shared with our logistics partners solely to fulfil and track a shipment.

Information collected automatically — device type, browser, approximate location (from IP), pages visited, and similar usage data, collected via cookies and standard web analytics.

3. How we use this information

  • To build, host, and maintain a seller’s online store.
  • To process and fulfil orders, including payments (via our payment gateway) and delivery (via our logistics partners).
  • To run and optimize advertising campaigns on Meta and Google on a seller’s behalf, when authorized.
  • To provide customer support to sellers and buyers.
  • To detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve our product and communicate service updates.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service above, with:

  • Our payment gateway partner, to process transactions.
  • Our logistics/shipping partners, to deliver orders.
  • Meta and Google, to run the ad campaigns a seller has authorized.
  • Our hosting, database, and infrastructure providers, who store data on our behalf under contract and cannot use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not share a seller's or buyer's data with other sellers on the platform.

5. Meta platform data — retention & deletion

Data we receive via Meta's APIs is used solely to provide the ad-management features a seller has connected, is retained only for as long as that connection is active plus a limited period for accounting and dispute purposes, and is handled in line with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

A seller can disconnect their Meta account at any time from their dashboard, which stops all further access immediately. To request deletion of any data we've received via Meta on your behalf (or any other personal data we hold about you), email hello@digimaker.in with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and your registered phone number or email. We will confirm and complete deletion, other than data we're legally required to retain (e.g. financial records), within 30 days.

6. Data retention

We keep account and transaction data for as long as an account is active, and for a further period afterwards where required for accounting, tax, or legal purposes. Ad-campaign data connected via Meta is covered by section 5 above.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Delete your data (see section 5 for the Meta-specific process).
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave us (e.g. disconnecting Meta or Google ad access).

To exercise any of these, email our Grievance Officer (section 13).

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (like light/dark mode and language), and understand how our site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site features.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and encryption of sensitive fields at rest — to protect the data we hold. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep data access limited to what each part of our service actually needs.

10. Children's privacy

DiGi Maker is intended for business owners and adult shoppers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to sellers directly.

12. Grievance Officer & contact

For any privacy question, data request, or grievance, contact us at hello@digimaker.in. We aim to acknowledge every request within 7 days and resolve it within 30 days.

13. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and courts in Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
